Rogue Royale Reloaded

What do you get when you combine a rogue-like with a battle royale? You get a turn based, randomly generated arena that shrinks over time. Find weapons, armor, perk-cards, and do your best to survive for as long as possible!

=== Tips ===

• Some enemies drop into the map after you do.
• Shotguns have 100% accuracy due to firing many pellets but have a large damage range.
• You can only hold up to 3 health potions at one time.
• The Space suit will take fire damage before you do.
• Upgrade coins are earned from completing rounds.
• Exiting to the main menu does not save your progress.
• You must mouse over an enemy (and have ammo in the gun) to shoot.
• Walk into enemies to melee attack.

• Arrow Keys = Movement
• T = Toggle Settings Menu
• Esc = Toggle fullscreen
• f = pick up object
• r = reload weapon
• tab = switch weapon
• mouse over enemies to aim (if you have a gun)

=== Backstory===

Back in 2021 I gave myself a challenge, 12 games, 12 months, 1 story. I created some of my favorite games to date working on that challenge, however, one of them never sat right with me. That game was Rogue Royale. So, after thinking about it, redesigning it a few times and sitting on it for two years, I was proud to release a prototype for the #madeWithDefoldJam2023. After another month of polishing it, the game is finally complete.
