In The Walls [GMTK 2022]

After a cat steals your last piece of cheese, it's up to you and your newly acquired magic dice to get it back. Scale the inside of the kitchen wall and take back what it rightfully yours!

Tips:

• In the settings there is a debug option for showing what dice power is currently in effect.
• If you get stuck, you can load the last checkpoint from the menu.
  
• All controls can be rebound in the settings menu.
  
• If the dice refuses to respawn, there's a setting option to force it to respawn on your back.

Controls:

• A and D to move left and right
• W to jump
• Click and hold to aim dice
• E to cancel a throw
• "F" to interact

What is Project 2021?

Over the course of this year, I am trying to tell a story between all of my games. While you do not need to play any prior or following games to enjoy this, the lore does build. Can you piece together the story that is being told?

Theme:

• The theme of this jam was 'Roll of the Dice'. In this game, you use your dice for combat, timing the attacks carefully to maximize damage. Beware the cat who wields a 20 sides dice of his own.
