Tips:

  1. Stay moving to stay alive.
  2. Chaos levels have nice benefits that stack, achieve them early for long lasting impact.

Hey just wondering if this has a secret ending?

No, there is just the end cutscene for getting 9 stars, I found this game was way to hard so I decided not to add a secret ending as not even I could get all 15 stars

Ok I was just curious

You're good! I see where you are coming from. What are your thoughts on the story and games so far?

(+2)

Well, I have beaten all of them and really liked the games. They were all polished and the gameplay was enjoyable. I have found the story to be interesting and fun while also not being tedious or boring. I also love the Christian levels and was happy to find a dev/ game series that incorporated the truth. Vary happ

Great! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I want to do more Christian games in the future, it's something that brings me a lot of joy to share the Good News in a unique way. Through those games I've met some other guys that also make Biblically themed games, here's a link to one of them if you want to check him out: https://prodigalson.itch.io/  (my personal favorite is his version of Armor of God)

Hi! I am playing and streaming top-50 fun games today/tomorrow (starting September 14th at 15:00 UTC and likely for 4-5 hours minimum): https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-6/topic/1644084/streaming-top-fun-ranked-games-on-s...

I'll play your game anyway, but it will be nice to have you on stream:) If you plan to join the stream, please let me know here and I will wait for you to actually join before playing your game (then let me know when you join in the stream chat). If you can't make it to this stream, but still would like to see your game being played live - let me know as well and I'll postpone your game till the next stream.

Keep in mind though that I am typically quite honest and if you join the stream be prepared to hear what I actually think about the game, which might quite disagree with the rankings.

Very cool and polished for a Jam. Really hard though.

Thanks for the feedback! I still can fix the difficulty before the jam deadline ends as I've seen a few people mention that. What do you think makes it so hard? To many enemies? To little player health?

very cool, I liked the style and varied gameplay, but the difficulty is quite high, or it could be because I'm not good with shooting games hahaha. congratulations c:

My friend played a lot to see how the last level is.  :P

Thanks for the feedback! I've seen a few people mention the difficulty, what do you think makes it to hard? To many enemies onscreen?

yes, a lot of enemies and they approach very fast, but your game is very polished anyway :D congratulations for doing it in a "fast" game jam.

Thanks again for the feedback. I experimented some with the enemy spawn rates. Slowing them down ended up making the game harder in the long run as Chaos levels require a lot of kills to get. Instead I added additional abilities that enable the player to heal or increase max hp depending upon the chaos level they are in.

Wow this game is really fun, I cant believe you made this in less than a week. I love these types of wave-based survival games. Also, I really like the Chaos meter mechanic, it rewards you for getting kills and fits the theme very well.

The only real criticism I can make is a minor one and its that the machine guns are far superior and more fun to use than the others. Otherwise the game is amazing, good job.

Thanks for the feedback! I had a lot of free time so I could pump a ton of time into this project. As for the weapons, I like having having a progression of power with some weapons being more desirable then others, I may have pushed that a little to far so I'll look into buffing some of the weapons before the deadline closes. Thanks again!
